TIL311 Retro Display Clock Pre-Assembled Kit

Bring a piece of 1970s display technology back to life with this TIL311 clock kit. The TIL311 was one of the first intelligent LED displays ever made. A numerical display with its own onboard decoder logic, originally used in vintage test equipment and computers. This kit puts four of them to work telling time on a clean, compact PCB.

  • ATmega328PB pre-flashed with clock firmware. No programmer needed.
  • Easy through-hole soldering required for: TIL311 displays and coin cell battery holder  (for backup timekeeping)

What you’ll need:

  • 4x TIL311 displays, not included. DS1417 will work too.
  • USB-C power adapter (not included) — powers the clock during normal operation

Specs:

  • Board dimensions: 72mm x 40mm
  • Power: USB-C (5V)
  • Backup power: CR2032 coin cell keeps time during power loss
