Description

A clock that makes you work for the time. Each WS2812 LED represents a bit, either on or off. Read the pattern, do the binary math, know what time it is. Runs on an ATmega328PB with a DS1307 real-time clock keeping accurate time even when unplugged.

Fully built and tested. Just power it up and set the time. No soldering, no kit assembly, just a weird little clock that’s fun to read once you get the hang of it.

Specs:

  • Open source, hackable design.
  • ATmega328PB microcontroller
  • WS2812 addressable RGB LEDs
  • DS1307 RTC with battery backup
  • USB -C powered
  • USB-C cable not included
