Page 3 – Circuit 1: Kirchhoff’s Law and Voltage Dividers
An overview of Kirchhoff’s first and second laws, and how to use voltage dividers.
Page 4 – Series/Parallel Combination Circuit
This page features a series/parallel combination circuit with 12 resistors that can be switched into the circuit or bypassed with switches. Do the math using Ohm’s law to figure out the total resistance, then check with an ohmmeter to see if your math is correct.
Page 5 – RC Time Constant
An explanation of RC time constants.
Page 6 – Capacitors in Action
Press any of the “Charge” buttons to charge the capacitor, then press “Discharge” to see how long the energy stored in the capacitor will keep the LED lit.

An explanation of how inductors behave in a DC circuit.

Press and hold one of the buttons to energize the inductors. When the button is released, the LED flickers very briefly when the stored energy is released.
